Arc System Works have narrowed down the release window for their upcoming fighting game Persona 4: The Ultimate in Mayonaka Arena.
The game, based on Atlus’ Shin Megami Tensei: Persona series of RPGs, was first announced to be in development last year. Rumors of a spring release have been flying around for quite a while, but now Arc has said that the game will be coming out in arcades in early March. No specific date has been given just yet, but if past Arc releases are anything to go by, we can expect P4:UMA to come out by the second week of March at the latest.
Note that this is only the date for the arcade release, and, as of now, the game is only officially coming to arcades in Japan. However, what few hardcore American arcades are left tend to import games from Japan, as was the case with Arc System Works’ last popular release BlazBlue. News on a home release should be coming soon after.
The game does not appear to require much localization, as nearly all the text in the game interface is already in English
